For a long time, the main meal I struggled with when Evie went on to full solids was breakfast. I’ll admit, for a long time she just ate wholewheat toast. But I felt so bad that her first meal of the day was boring bread, that I looked in to different ways of adding a little more excitement. Evie loves fruit, I think she’d be happy eating it for every meal. But like every toddler, she has her favourites. She’ll eat a heap of strawberries, pears, bananas, grapes, blackberries but try and give her a blueberry and most the time she’ll spit it out. So I disguised a way of mixing the faves with the ‘spitjects’ as I call them.
