Your personal data is not collected when you send me a message via the contact form. However, your name and email address is saved via a third party service, Mail Chimp, when you signup to my newsletter.

Contact form

The contact form does not store any submissions and is only used to send an email to both myself and the user who submitted the form.

Who I share your data with

By default WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone. I also do not store any information submitted via the contact form. Your name and email address is stored by Mail Chimp when you signup to my newsletter. Mail Chimps privacy policy can be found here https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.

What rights you have over your data

Your name and email address is stored by Mail Chimp so that I can send you my newsletter, however if you change your mind and would like to be removed click the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive from me, or by contacting me at gem@themothercooker.com. I will treat your information with respect.

All searches performed using the internal site search are logged in the database, including the following information: the search query and the number of hits found. The search logs are stored indefinitely.

Ninja Forms

The Ninja Forms plugin is used for the contact form. Your personal data is not saved when you send me a message via the contact form. It is used to send me and the user an email.

Monster Insights for Google Analytics

I use Monster Insights WordPress plugin for Google Analytics tracking. This is to collect information about how you use The Mother Cooker. This is to help make improvements to the experience. The information stored by Google Analytics includes the pages you visit on themothercooker.com, how long you spend on each post or page, how you got to the site, what you click on while you’re visiting the site. We do not collect or store your personal information as part of Google Analytics tracking. We do not allow Google to use or share our analytics data. The IP anonymisation feature has been enabled.
