Edible Gifts | The Mother Cooker

Today I wanted to take the time to pop together a gift guide that represented small companies. I know how important sales are to them in these troubled times. I love supporting people who are really trying to build something from the ground up. They are often families and depend a lot more on sales than big corporations. I'm sharing some real crackers, if you'll excuse the pun.

From hot sauce to pasta subscriptions, you're bound to find edible gifts for the foodie in your life. Amongst these are some companies that come highly recommended by me. They deliver on flavour and quality, which is no mean feat. I've also included a lot of recommendations from you guys. Thank you so much for all of your amazing suggestions.

Yard Confectionery, Urban Herbs, Bee & Bonnet Honey, Turtle Cup, Aye Pickled, Pump Street Chocolate, Pimp my Salad, Succulento, Pasta evangelists, Edinburgh Honey Co, ChinaEastSezme, Heartbeat Hot Sauce

Need some other ideas for edible gifts? I have a few more ideas that you can make yourself. From clementine marmalade to salted fudge, find them here. I also make my neighbours these cookies every Christmas, they are my absolute favourite and they are super simple to make. Wrap them in a ribbon or pop them in a small box; the smell of gingerbread is always delicious.

If you are thinking of treating yourself this year, how about my book? I class myself as a small business now and I'd be eternally grateful for your support. It's full of delicious and comforting recipes. You can buy it here.
