Foodie Stocking Fillers

Christmas is always a stressful time of year, I like making gift guides to help. Mainly because I like compiling a list of things that I would love to be honest. I thought I would pull together a list of small stocking fillers dedicated towards the foodie in your life. This list is things I would GENUINELY like to recieve. They are either useful, delicious or pretty. I don’t think you can go wrong with one of those.

So what have I included? Well, an array of things that I think would suit most people to be honest. Perello olives are a top choice in the abundant world of well, olives. Absolutely delicious and a great treat that won’t spoil quickly. Hot honey is a great condiment to have around. It’s nice on pizza, eggs, rice, drizzled on hummus. So many uses and SO good.

Maldon is one of the best finishing salts around and this little pocket size version is great for your bag. Only a proper foodie would pull this out at dinner, me, I would. Celtic salt is one of the best things you can have in your kitchen. Add it to your morning water and the electrolytes and mineral boost you’ll get is better than any caffeine hit.

Tajin was introduced to me this year through Tik Tok and I have never looked back. I highly recommend this duo! pop it on mango, pineapple, watermelon. Good lord, the watermelon, it is life changing. I promise.

Aye Pickled is one of my favourite small brands. They are based in Scotland and this kimchi hot sauce is one of the best I’ve tried. I am a repeat customer and I think you’d love it.

Vanilla bean paste is expensive and a lovely gift in my opinion. I always like having some on hand. True foodies know that Nielsen is one of the best; paste over essence always. I LOVE pickles and snacking, so this tiny pickle plate speaks volumes to me. It’s by Mich Makes and I really adore it.

Lao Gan Ma is quite frankly in every foodie’s fridge or cupboard. If you know, you know. Add it to the basket. Give me a funky hat forever. I love this ‘Butter’ one, food related phrases on hats are always a talking point. I’m also mainly always thinking about food when I’m out walking or hiking, so this speaks to my soul.

Speaking of butter, this fun play on words dish is so cute. All grown ups who cook deserve a butter dish, nice work Maison. Pistachio everything, if I have to explain we aren’t on the same page. Hot banana peppers are one of my favourite condiments. I struggle to find the seeds in the UK to grow them myself, so a jar of pickled ones will see me right. Honestly, on a pastrami sandwich, SO good!

I love making my own dressings and this Kilner dressing maker jar is awesome. Be great to pack for a picnic too. Love the concept of having a garlic pot and this one from H&M is just the right size and colour.

Sabre do such beautiful knives and this butter one is great. We’ve all been there scraping haf our bread away. Let’s give the foodie the right equipment.

A fun tea towel is always a good gift, I love this sardine one from Etsy. Nice, different, unusual. Who wouldn’t want their house to smell like a bakery? I love the sound of this croissant candle. Cheaper than the ‘well known’ brand version too. Last but not least, my favourite chocolate from Tony’s. Not like I ever get a look in with my family.
